Sehagal Tools Corporation is a classic example of steady business evolution. The business model set up by Mr. Sehgal in 1957 for catering to the requirements of developing forging & casting industry in INDIA, by way of providing them with Industrial Hardware products. Tools & Die steel of the finest quality. Sehgal Tools did not merely supply the tools & die steel to its customers, also helped the entrepreneurs in identifying the right type of products for their factories. Technically assisting them with all type of information required, by tying up with large Companies & consultants for this purpose. This hard work by Mr. Sehgal coupled with his business acumen and his foresightedness helped in this development.

In 1981 SEHGAL TOOLS COORPORATION was established, wherein the flagship of SEHGAL TOOLS was carried further deep into other areas of the forging industry. Mr.Sehgal ventured into manufacturing and thereafter Mr. Sehgal was inducted into business who carried the developments ahead, especially in the forging & casting Industry under the trade names and styles of Sehgal Tools. Mr. Sehgal, having been imbibed with the respect from his friends & foes alike. With this fresh perspective & energy introduced, the business grew at a faster pace. Today the metal forging & casting industry in whole of India fully appreciates the organizational & business capabilities of Mr. sehgal. With the opening up of the global markets, Sehgal tools started importing Tools & Die Steels from the world’s top most manufacturing companies like.

Steel Having 12 % ledeburitic chromium tool steel with great wears resistance . Basically utilized as cutting tools for sheets up to 4 mm thickness, trimming dies, blanking dies for paper and plastics, shear cutting edges and rotational shear edges for sheet thicknesses up to 2 mm.

Highly recommendable for Close Die Forgings due to its characteristics of high wear-resistance, extra toughness , high hardness which is achieved with Cr-Ni-Mo-V high graded alloys. The equivalent grade DB6 / L6 / SKT4 normally used as a pre hardened condition. The standard hardness is 360 to 430 BHN. DIN 2714 is the upgraded version of DIN 2713 for better performance of dies. We supply Die blocks as the extra Forging Reduction & Upsetting with Double tempered to achieve the better Ultrasonic quality

Steel Consolidates maximum wear resistance, great durability, exceptional front line maintenance and treating resistance. 12 % ledeburitic chromium steel. It can be nitride after special heat treatment. It can be utilized as threading rolls and dies, icy trimming, cutting and stamping tools for sheet thickness's up to 6 mm, accuracy cutting instruments for sheet thicknesses up to 12 mm.

Cold Work Steel
